With no cons or charity events going on some tiny little Star Wars fans came by to see Patches and BB8. The droids were happy to have the company.
A major part of the pre-wiring is done. In simple terms the wires in the red electrical tape are power in from the batteries and the green wrapped wires is RC controlled power to the drive motor.
The black box on the right is the RC signal receiver for the remote control. The digital readout on the left shows volts in as well as adjustable volts coming out the other end. It will be set to 4.5v for the receiver on the right. It will also show battery life so I know when to stop running and go charge back up. After loads of sanding and filling seams on the lower half of the NSD Dalek now named George, it has been primed and painted. Also a little test of the blue under lighting.
