​(Q)  Are you deaf?
     (A)  Yes, I am now deaf but only have been going deaf with tinnitus the last fourteen years of my life.
Now I can't hear anything even with hearing aids and the ringing is still 24/7.

(Q) Why are you called Moose?
     (A)My Grandpa on my mother's side always called me that and the name stuck. I still go by the name of Moose in his honor.

(Q) Where did you learn all your trade skills?
     (A) Self taught mostly, and also from fixing other peoples duct-tape and silicon repairs properly.

(Q) How do you make Youtube videos being deaf?
     (A) With great difficulty. It is the reason most videos have no background music now a days and I talk less and use captions. ( Got to difficult to make videos so we stopped in 2025)

(Q) What do you do when not working on projects?
     (A) Spend time with my wife, read, watch a little TV (with captions), be out in nature.

(Q) Do you charge?
      (A) Other than one set of R.R. light plans, no. I do have a Patreon.

(Q) How can you run the Zoo train without hearing?
​     (A) With how loud the train is most of us use hand signals anyway to communicate. ( Had to stop due to whistle aggravating Tinnitus.
