Here is a before and after of putting the ties back after the track is installed. Cutting off the tie plates first so they fit under the metal rail connectors. No glue is need because once the ballast is glued down they will not go anywhere.

Installed a DCC circuit breaker on my railroad. Cheap insurance against a short. Especially as I am about to start on the more complicated wiring from here on out. Video of the install coming soon!  Jen helped me cut some mirrored plexi today to make an illusion that the bridges are deeper than they appear.
The second building on the layout finally finds it's place and the lights are on. Welcome to "Uncle" Jesse Junction. 
Turntable is fully wired up and has the DCC connected. The command control for the roundhouse has gotten tons more wiring done to it as well as a dedicated power supply that puts out multiple voltages. Next i will be soldering leads to each stall's track for thr DCC.       |
