After years and years of use, transporting back and forth, as well as some fans not being gentle,the poor girl is showing some age. With Britishfest canceled this year due to the virus outbreak now is a good time to do repairs and upgrades. The first upgrade will be commercial grade hinges for the top panels. Got thr cut to length ready to be ground smooth and the ends welded.
Got the Davros jacket done as well as the main console put together. Only a month left to get it all done!
Taking the time to make sure all the dimples and imperfections look as good as possible.  After loads of sanding and filling seams on the lower half of the NSD Dalek now named George, it has been primed and painted. Also a little test of the blue under lighting.
Finally looking like a Dalek! First time getting all the pieces together on this one. Now that the big parts are made it is time for the detail pieces.   |
