So many of you liked the pictures of painting my benchwork that I went ahead and made a before and after video tour of it as well. Lots of people had questions on the roundhouse and track layout as well. Took the Snoopy Express dog house and electronics off the train to start making the Switcher body. First I needed to make a template out of paper on the current wood frame so I can make a drop on one out of metal that overhangs the current edge. The overhang floor needs to clear the motor and battery hold downs to fit flush.      After years and years of use, transporting back and forth, as well as some fans not being gentle,the poor girl is showing some age. With Britishfest canceled this year due to the virus outbreak now is a good time to do repairs and upgrades. The first upgrade will be commercial grade hinges for the top panels. Got thr cut to length ready to be ground smooth and the ends welded.
