Had some decent dry weather today so got some more work done on the 1.5 scale bridge project. This shows what the inside and outside look like. Next thing to do is start on the vertical outer pieces.

With track repairs complete, we took U.P. 402 on a cool night run to watch the lightning bugs and the stars above. Behold! On our FB page a 32meg Backyard Railroad poster of our little slice of Train heaven here on earth free to look at or download. Save the image and zoom in for the details.
Some info that a lot of people are asking about it. 7.5 track at a tight 22 foot radius. Only small cars like the 1.5 scale ones we made will run on it. Except for the trucks and diesel grill, we made everything out of recycled wood and other materials. Runs on two 12v batteries at 24 volts for about two hours before needing charged. Hope you like it! Tracks repaired, tested, and ready! Going to do a night run this evening.
