4014 going backwards with Ed behind the throttle , letting that whistle blow! A while back before we had other financial concerns I got in on a run of USED BIGBOY 4014 parts. They arrived today! These are 4014's original super heater clips. New ones were used to replace these original ones. Imagine the history they could tell. Signed by Ed Dickens himself! The clips still retain their makers logo and part numbers! Going to frame the certificate with a shelf underneath holding the clips.

We have a new side project to work on as winter approaches. This old Mamod mini steam engine! We ran it once but it has a few fitting leaks and a lot of lime scale in the boiler. Just got done filling the boiler with white vinegar that over the next 24 hours will help break the lime scale down. Next time I am at the hardware store I will get the proper washers for the fittings and the tractor should be good to go.
